Warranty Terms & Conditions

Blue Star provides various types of warranties across different product segments in Air Conditioners.

  1. Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer
    1. Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 60 months or 5 years from the date of installation, for those customers who purchase Blue Star Inverter or Fixed Speed Split ACs of tonnage up to 2 Ton from April 1 to June 30, 2026. This Promotional Warranty is applicable for residential usage only and does not apply to commercial or NAMO customers.

    2. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer will be strictly applicable only if Installation, Promotional Warranty Registration, PMS & Service are availed through Blue Star authorised Sales & Service Partner or Expert Service Associate.

    3. All sales partners must ensure that product installation is done through the installation ticket raised with Blue Star.

    4. Sales& Service Partners who install the product for the customer must ensure that product registration is done in real-time via WhatsApp or the Mobile App. If product registration is done after the day of installation, the system will automatically tag the Standard Warranty to the product and the customer will not be entitled to the benefits of the Promotional Warranty Offer.

    5. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer covers comprehensively all repairs, rectification, or replacement of components like Electronic PCB, IDU Evaporating Coil, ODU Condenser Coil, Motors and Gas Charging*. The defective part shall be replaced with a functionally working repaired or equivalent part.

    6. Customers to pay visit charges as per the rates in force 2nd year onwards.

    7. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts, and the remote handset.

    8. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer includes Gas Charging*. Gas Charging associated with the replacement of a non-functional Compressor/ Evaporator Coil/ Condenser Coil will be covered under the warranty and borne by the Company. However, in such a scenario, the visit charges will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    9. Customer will be mailed a Promotional 60 Months Warranty Registration letter.

    10. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion. This will be informed at the time of installation and in such cases, the Promotional Warranty registration letter will not be issued.

    11. Customers to mandatorily avail 2 Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) per year, as per the applicable PMS rates in force to be eligible for the Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer. If PMS is not availed, the Promotional Warranty Scheme will become void. PMS helps maintain product efficiency and ensures a longer life.

    12. Blue Star shall not be liable or deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond reasonable control including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labor problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty of 1 Year
    1. Standard Warranty of 1 Year from the date of installation, on the entire range of Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs, Inverter Split ACs, Commercial Split ACs and Portable ACs.

      Standard Warranty means ‘Repair/Replacement’ of any part of the AC found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical personnel of Blue Star Limited or any of its authorised service dealers or service associates, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts and remote handset and defects caused due to improper handling or usage or maintenance of the product or any use contrary to the operations specified in the User Manual supplied with the product.

    2. Blue Star shall at its sole discretion will repair or replace such defective product or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right to decide on its discretion to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the performance of the product. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. In the event Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the said warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

    3. Lifetime Warranty # on Inverter Compressor comes with an Additional Warranty of 9 years, on the Inverter Compressor of Inverter Split ACs and Inverter Window ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    4. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the Compressor of Fixed Speed Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs and Portable ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    5. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the Inverter Compressor of Inverter Cassette Split ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    6. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the MCHX Condenser Coil (ODU Coil) of MCHX SKUs of Fixed Speed Split ACs and Inverter Split ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

      Additional Warranty is applicable only on those components or parts of the relevant product as mentioned above. Blue Star shall at its sole discretion repair or replace such defective parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right to decide at its discretion, for replacing any defective part with a substitute without affecting the performance of the product. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. In the event Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the said Additional Warranty Period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

    7. Extended Warranty of 4 years, applicable on all the Fixed Speed Window ACs, Inverter Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs and Inverter Split ACs for residential and commercial application, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

      Extended Warranty covers repairs, rectification or replacement of the components including the PCB of IDU or ODU, IDU Evaporating Coil, ODU Condenser Coil and gas charging. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part. All decisions shall be at full discretion of Blue Star Service and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.

      Extended Warranty is optional and can be availed on an annual basis, or in blocks of 2, 3 or 4 years by making payment depending on the application of the product. Kindly, get in touch with our customer care team or the concerned SSDs/ESAs for the Extended Warranty Cost.

      Under Extended Warranty, the customer will be entitled for 2 Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) in case of residential usage and 4 Preventive Maintenance Services in case of commercial usage.

      Extended Warranty excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts and remote handset. The transportation charges to and from the service facility, if required, will be charged extra, at actuals.

    8. Blue Star offers PCB Extended Warranty # (PCB EW) of 4 Years, on the PCB of IDU or ODU (excluding the Remote Handset) of Inverter Split ACs and Inverter Window ACs, on completion of the 1 year from the date of installation.

      Under the PCB Extended Warranty, repair or rectification or replacement of the components in the PCB or the whole PCB thereof will be carried out free of cost for the material used, under the PCB Extended Warranty period of 4 years. All such repairs, rectification or replacement shall be at full discretion of Blue Star and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.

      PCB defects arising out of 24×7 usage, huge voltage spikes, lightning strikes, floods and non-compliance of adequate earthing of the AC, faulty voltage stabiliser and tampering of the PCB by unauthorised personnel are not covered under the PCB Extended Warranty.

      The consumer will be charged the visit charges as applicable at the time of repair or rectification or replacement under the PCB Extended Warranty.

      #The Lifetime Warranty on the Inverter Compressor and the Extended PCB Warranty do not apply to Business-to-Business (B2B), Institutional, and Commercial Applications. Additionally, the terms of these warranties may vary depending on the specific circumstances or agreements.

  3. Common Warranty Terms & Conditions:

    The consumer should download the “ Blue Star Customer Care App” and register with relevant details for availing of the Promotional, Standard, Additional and Extended Warranty as applicable.

    The installation of the AC must be carried out by Blue Star authorised SSD or ESA.

    Customers will have to present the invoice copy to the Blue Star authorised SSD or ESA to avail the benefits under warranties. A soft copy of the invoice or warranty registration copy is also sufficient to avail the applicable warranties.

    All types of warranty will be null and void in:

    1. Applications where the products are used 24×7 for 365 days (such as ATMs with 1 working AC or any other applications) and usage other than comfort, such as to cool or dehumidify or heat machines or materials.

    2. Cases where the product or any component has been tampered with or replaced or repaired by personnel other than the Blue Star authorised service personnel.

    Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repair due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problems, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any unavoidable circumstances, specially vis-a-vis the import of supplies and raw material or if Blue Star is otherwise prevented from performing its functions under this warranty.

    Blue Star's obligation under all types of warranties shall be limited to the repair of part(s) only. The maximum amount of liability with respect to any product related claim(s), if entertained by Blue Star, will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.

    All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the User Manual of the product except for those covered above.

Blue Star provides different types of warranties on Air Coolers.

  1. Promotional Warranty Offer
    1. The Promotional Warranty means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 3 years from the date of invoice and is only applicable to the Motor and the Pump. The offer is valid for customers who purchase Blue Star Visi Coolers from March 15 to June 30, 2026. This warranty is not applicable to NAD/NAMO customers.

    2. The Promotional Warranty will be applicable only upon submission of a valid customer GST invoice, which will be used to determine the date of purchase and the applicable warranty period. Customers who fail to submit the GST invoice will not be eligible to avail the benefits of this Promotional Warranty Offer.

    3. The Promotional Warranty will be applicable only upon submission of a valid customer GST invoice, which will be used to determine the date of purchase and the applicable warranty period. Customers who fail to submit the GST invoice will not be eligible to avail the benefits of this Promotional Warranty Offer.

    4. The Warranty covers all repairs, rectification, or replacement of the Motor and the Pump comprehensively. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working repaired or equivalent part.

    5. In case of the Promotional Warranty, the replacement of a non-functional Motor and Pump will be covered under Warranty and borne by the Company. The replacement of these parts will be limited to a maximum of two times. However, in such a scenario, the labour, transportation and relevant taxes will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    6. Customers will be required to pay visit charges and taxes as per the rates in force from 2nd year onwards.

    7. The Promotional Warranty excludes plastic parts, tank, metal parts, rubber parts, electrical parts and cooling pads.

    8. This Warranty Offer will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion. This will be informed at the time of sale, and in such cases, the Promotional Warranty registration letter will not be issued.

    9. Customers are advised to avail of two Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) per year as per applicable PMS rates in force. PMS ensures product efficiency and a longer product life.

    10. Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty Offer
    1. Standard Warranty of 1 year on Air Coolers, commencing from the date of invoice.

      Standard Warranty means repair/replacement of any part of the Air Cooler found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical experts appointed by Blue Star Limited or its authorised service partner, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of plastic parts, cooling pads and defects caused by improper maintenance of the product or by any use contrary to the operations specified in the user’s manual supplied with the product.

    2. Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.

    3. Under this warranty, the purchaser is entitled to the following:

        • Within 12 months from the date of invoice, any replacement for the component(s) found to be defective will be made and repairs executed free of charge by the company. Parts repaired or replaced are under warranty through the remainder of the original warranty period only.

          Only the Company or the Authorised service agents or dealers can service, repair or attend to the Blue Star product.

        • This warranty does not cover any form of damage resulting from accident and misuse, application of incorrect voltage or any use contrary to the operation instructions supplied with the product.

        • The Company will not be responsible for any damage arising due to unauthorised modification or alterations of any nature made to the product.

        • The Company will not be responsible for any damages incurred during transit of the product.

        • This warranty is not valid if the serial number of the product has been deleted, defaced or altered.

        • This warranty does not cover the cost of transportation to the place of installation by the service centre.

        • This warranty is subject to the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Court of Law.

        • This warranty shall be confirmed by the purchaser of the product only.


Blue Star Ltd. gives a 1-year standard warranty, commencing from the date of purchase on your Blue Star Air Purifier.

Under this warranty, the purchaser is entitled to the following:

  1. Repair/replacement of any part of the air purifier (except consumable parts like filters) found defective within 12 months from the date of purchase, if proved upon inspection by Blue Star Ltd. or any of its authorised service dealers or service associates, to have been defective due to faulty material or workmanship.
  2. Free after-sales service for a period within 12 months from the date of purchase, as and when necessary, within the municipal limits of the city or town where the Blue Star dealer/office is situated.

    Note: For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the Authorised Service Agent/Dealer of Blue Star, all expenses incurred in dispatching the unit, or parts thereof, from the Company’s authorised service station or the dealer of Blue Star, as well as expenses incurred in connection with deputing of service personnel/technicians, to and fro conveyance and other incidentals, etc will be borne by the customer.

  3. The purchaser should preserve the original invoice and Warranty Card for necessary verification and produce it at the time of availing warranty services.
  4. Single phase air purifiers are designed to operate at a voltage supply of 230 volts-50 Hz with a tolerable variation of plus or minus 5%. Any failure due to operation of the machine beyond these limits will not be covered under warranty. If the voltage prevailing is beyond these limits, the purchaser is advised to install a good quality voltage stabiliser.
  5. Blue Star Limited shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delays in repair due to labour problems, restrictions, and regulations of the government, public movement, war or any other unavoidable circumstances.
  6. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part.

    2. The Offer will be strictly applicable only if Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) & services are availed through a Blue Star authorised Sales & Service Partner or Expert Service Associate.

      *Free Gas Charging associated with the replacement of a non-functional Compressor/ Evaporator Coil/ Condenser Coil will be covered under warranty and borne by the Company. However, in such a scenario, the visit charges will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    5. Customers will be required to pay visit charges as per the rates in force from 2nd year onwards.

    6. The Promotional Warranty excludes all types of electrical cables, plastics, lids, metal parts, glass and grills.

    7. This Warranty Offer will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion. This will be informed at the time of sale, and in such cases, the Promotional Warranty registration letter will not be issued.

    8. Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty Offer
    1. The Standard 1 year comprehensive warranty applies from the date of sale on Hard Top and Glass Top Deep Freezers.

      • Standard Warranty means repair/replacement of any part of the Deep Freezer found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical experts appointed by Blue Star Limited or its authorised service partner, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of electrical cables, plastics, lids, metal parts, glass and grills, and defects caused by improper maintenance of the product or by any use contrary to the operations specified in the user’s manual supplied with the product.
      • Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.
    2. Additional Extended Warranty of 3 years, on the Compressor, Internal Leakage, Fan motor, Thermostat, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.
      • Under the Additional Extended Warranty, repair or rectification or replacement of the components in the like Compressor, Fan Motor, Thermostat, Internal leakage or the whole component thereof will be carried out free of cost for the material used, under the Additional Extended Warranty period of 3 years. All such repairs, rectification or replacement shall be at full discretion of Blue Star and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.
      • Andy defects arising out of 24×7 usage, huge voltage spikes, lightning strikes, floods and non-compliance of adequate earthing of the Deep Freezer, faulty voltage stabiliser and tampering of the product by unauthorised personnel are not covered under the Additional Extended Warranty.
      • The consumer will be charged the visit charges as applicable at the time of repair or rectification or replacement under the Additional Extended Warranty.
    3. Standard Warranty for Cooler cum Freezers is 1 year with a 2 year extended warranty for the compressor. Standard Warranty is limited to the repair/ replacement of any part of the unit found defective within 12 months from the date of sale. Parts covered include the Compressor, Fan Motor and PCB. Parts such as the thermostat, Condenser, copper pipe, electrical cable, bimetal/ plastic body, lid, grills and other plastic parts are not covered.

      The Extended Warranty covers repairs, rectification or replacement of the compressor.

Common Terms and Conditions:

  1. Costs for gas charging and technician visits will be charged extra after 1 year under the Standard Warranty.
  2. This warranty ceases to be valid if:

    a. Service or repairs on the equipment are carried out by any person other than one authorised by the Company.

    b. The equipment is let on hire.

    c. A defective voltage stabiliser is in use.

  3. Any consequential damage or loss arising from any cause whatsoever is excluded from the Warranty. Any abuse of the machine is not covered under Warranty.
  4. Failure or deterioration of any part/assembly, arising in the Company’s opinion, by reasons of shifting to another location, accident, alteration, abuse/misuse, substitution of original part(s) with unauthorised part(s) or any damage caused by fire/flood, etc., or exposure to weather conditions, are not covered under Warranty.
  5. Warranty will continue to be in force for the term herein specified, irrespective of any replacement parts which may be provided under warranty and such replacement parts shall not carry any fresh warranty.
  6. Employees and/or authorised dealers of the Company have no authority to vary the terms of this warranty. No person is authorised to assume, in the Company’s name or on the Company’s behalf, any other obligation or liability in respect of this appliance.

  7. Any dispute whatsoever covering our warranty terms, if not amicably settled, shall be referred to a mutually approved arbitrator in Mumbai.


    All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the user manual of the product, except for those covered above.

  1. Blue Star gives a standard warranty of 1 year on Bottled Water Dispensers, commencing from the date of purchase.
  2. Standard warranty is limited to repair/replacement of any part of the unit found defective within 12 months from the date of sale. Parts covered include compressor and PCB. Parts such as thermostat, condenser, copper pipe, electrical cable, bimetal/plastic body, lid, grilles and other plastic parts are not covered.
  3. Costs towards gas charging and technician visits will be charged extra after 1 year.
  4. The warranty will be valid only if the Bottled Water Dispenser is operated on a power supply of single-phase AC 230V ± 10%.
  5. This warranty ceases to be valid if:

    a.Service/repairs on the equipment are carried out by any person other than the one authorized by the Company.

    b. The equipment is let on hire.

    c. A defective voltage stabilizer is in use.

  6. Any consequential damage or loss arising from any cause whatsoever, is excluded from this Warranty. Any abuse of the machine is not covered under Warranty.
  7. Failure/deterioration of any part/assembly, arising in the Company’s opinion, by reasons of shifting to another location, accident, alteration, abuse/misuse, substitution of original part(s) with unauthorized part(s) or any damage caused by fire/flood, etc., or exposure to weather conditions, are not covered under this Warranty.

It excludes all types of electrical cables, plastics, lids, rubber parts, metal parts, door glass, door handle and grilles, and defects caused by improper maintenance of the product or by any use contrary to the operations specified in the user’s manual supplied with the product.

    2. Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.

    3. Costs for gas charging and technician visits will be charged extra after the 1st year.

    8. This Warranty will continue to be in force for the term herein specified, irrespective of any replacement parts which may be provided under Warranty and such replacement parts shall not carry any fresh Warranty.

    9. Employees and/or authorised dealers of the company have no authority to vary the terms of this warranty. No person is authorised to assume, in the Company’s name or on the Company’s behalf, any other obligation or liability in respect of this appliance.

    10. Any dispute whatsoever covering our Warranty terms, if not amicably settled, shall be referred to a mutually approved arbitrator in Mumbai.


All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the user manual of the product, except for those covered above.

  1. Blue Star offers 1 Year Comprehensive* Warranty and 4 Year Warranty on Compressor of Mini Bar, to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

  2. *Comprehensive warranty includes warranty on product and compressor. The warranty on product includes parts covered as mentioned above.


  3. The Warranty will be limited to repair/replacement of Compressor, Thermostat, LED Light, Power Cord, Electrical Cables and any part, listed in the Warranty Obligation page and found defective, ex-Branch Office within 12 months from the date of sale.
  4. The Warranty does not cover Condenser, Foot, Evaporator Roll Bond, Copper Drier Filter, Refrigerant Charge and other parts such as- all handles, hinges, shelf, rubber/glass/plastic parts.
  5. Free transportation of the equipment to the workshop for repairs is available during the Warranty period if the appliance is used within the municipal limits of the city or town where the Blue Star office/dealer is located.
  6. The defective parts must be sent to the Company, freight prepaid and insured, for the Company’s examination and satisfaction that they are defective. Return freight and insurance on such repaired/replacement parts plus any excise duty and taxes/levies will be extra.
  7. This Warranty will be valid only if the Mini Bar is operated on a power supply of single phase AC 230V ± 10%.

  13. Any dispute whatsoever covering our Warranty terms, if not amicably settled, shall be referred to mutually approved arbitrator, in Mumbai.

Blue Star offers various warranties across product segments in the Kitchen Refrigeration Range, comprising of Reach-In Chillers, Undercounter Chillers, Backbar and Saladettes.

  1. Promotional Warranty Offer
    1. The Promotional Warranty means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 2 years from the date of invoice and is only applicable to the Compressor. The offer is valid for customers who purchase Blue Star Visi Coolers from March 15 to June 30, 2026. This warranty is not applicable to NAD/NAMO customers.

    2. The Promotional Warranty will be applicable only upon submission of a valid customer GST invoice, which will be used to determine the date of purchase and the applicable warranty period. Customers who fail to submit the GST invoice will not be eligible to avail the benefits of this Promotional Warranty Offer.

    3. The Warranty covers all repairs, rectification, or replacement of the Compressor comprehensively. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working repaired part or an equivalent part.

    4. In case of the Promotional Warranty, the replacement of a non-functional Compressor will be covered under Warranty and borne by the Company. However, in such a scenario, the labour, gas charging, transportation and relevant taxes will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    5. Customers will be required to pay visit charges as per the rates in force from the 2nd year onwards.

    6. The Promotional Warranty excludes all types of electrical cables, rubber parts, plastics, lids, metal parts, glass, handles, and grills.

    7. This Warranty Offer will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion. This will be informed at the time of sale, and in such cases, the Promotional Warranty registration letter will not be issued.

    8. Customers are advised to avail of two Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) per year as per applicable PMS rates in force. PMS ensures product efficiency and a longer product life.

    9. Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty Offer
    1. Blue Star provides a Standard Warranty of 1 year on the Kitchen Refrigeration Range from the date of invoice.

      Standard Warranty means repair/replacement of any part of the Kitchen Refrigeration Range found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical experts appointed by Blue Star Limited or its authorised service partner, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of electrical parts, plastics parts, rubber parts, metal parts and defects caused by improper maintenance of the product or by any use contrary to the operations specified in the user’s manual supplied with the product.

    2. Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.

Blue Star provides various types of warranties across different product segments in Air Conditioners.

  1. Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer
    1. Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 60 months or 5 years from the date of installation, for those customers who purchase Blue Star Inverter or Fixed Speed Split ACs of tonnage up to 2 Ton from April 1 to June 30, 2026. This Promotional Warranty is applicable for residential usage only and does not apply to commercial or NAMO customers.

    2. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer will be strictly applicable only if Installation, Promotional Warranty Registration, PMS & Service are availed through Blue Star authorised Sales & Service Partner or Expert Service Associate.

    3. All sales partners must ensure that product installation is done through the installation ticket raised with Blue Star.

    4. Sales& Service Partners who install the product for the customer must ensure that product registration is done in real-time via WhatsApp or the Mobile App. If product registration is done after the day of installation, the system will automatically tag the Standard Warranty to the product and the customer will not be entitled to the benefits of the Promotional Warranty Offer.

    5. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer covers comprehensively all repairs, rectification, or replacement of components like Electronic PCB, IDU Evaporating Coil, ODU Condenser Coil, Motors and Gas Charging*. The defective part shall be replaced with a functionally working repaired or equivalent part.

    6. Customers to pay visit charges as per the rates in force 2nd year onwards.

    7. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts, and the remote handset.

    8. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer includes Gas Charging*. Gas Charging associated with the replacement of a non-functional Compressor/ Evaporator Coil/ Condenser Coil will be covered under the warranty and borne by the Company. However, in such a scenario, the visit charges will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    9. Customer will be mailed a Promotional 60 Months Warranty Registration letter.

    10. The Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer will not be applicable for installations in areas prone to corrosion. This will be informed at the time of installation and in such cases, the Promotional Warranty registration letter will not be issued.

    11. Customers to mandatorily avail 2 Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) per year, as per the applicable PMS rates in force to be eligible for the Promotional 60 Months Warranty Offer. If PMS is not availed, the Promotional Warranty Scheme will become void. PMS helps maintain product efficiency and ensures a longer life.

    12. Blue Star shall not be liable or deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond reasonable control including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labor problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty of 1 Year
    1. Standard Warranty of 1 Year from the date of installation, on the entire range of Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs, Inverter Split ACs, Commercial Split ACs and Portable ACs.

      Standard Warranty means ‘Repair/Replacement’ of any part of the AC found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical personnel of Blue Star Limited or any of its authorised service dealers or service associates, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts and remote handset and defects caused due to improper handling or usage or maintenance of the product or any use contrary to the operations specified in the User Manual supplied with the product.

    2. Blue Star shall at its sole discretion will repair or replace such defective product or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right to decide on its discretion to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the performance of the product. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. In the event Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the said warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

    3. Lifetime Warranty # on Inverter Compressor comes with an Additional Warranty of 9 years, on the Inverter Compressor of Inverter Split ACs and Inverter Window ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    4. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the Compressor of Fixed Speed Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs and Portable ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    5. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the Inverter Compressor of Inverter Cassette Split ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

    6. Additional Warranty of 4 years, on the MCHX Condenser Coil (ODU Coil) of MCHX SKUs of Fixed Speed Split ACs and Inverter Split ACs, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

      Additional Warranty is applicable only on those components or parts of the relevant product as mentioned above. Blue Star shall at its sole discretion repair or replace such defective parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right to decide at its discretion, for replacing any defective part with a substitute without affecting the performance of the product. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. In the event Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the said Additional Warranty Period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the warranty.

    7. Extended Warranty of 4 years, applicable on all the Fixed Speed Window ACs, Inverter Window ACs, Fixed Speed Split ACs and Inverter Split ACs for residential and commercial application, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.

      Extended Warranty covers repairs, rectification or replacement of the components including the PCB of IDU or ODU, IDU Evaporating Coil, ODU Condenser Coil and gas charging. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part. All decisions shall be at full discretion of Blue Star Service and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.

      Extended Warranty is optional and can be availed on an annual basis, or in blocks of 2, 3 or 4 years by making payment depending on the application of the product. Kindly, get in touch with our customer care team or the concerned SSDs/ESAs for the Extended Warranty Cost.

      Under Extended Warranty, the customer will be entitled for 2 Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) in case of residential usage and 4 Preventive Maintenance Services in case of commercial usage.

      Extended Warranty excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts and remote handset. The transportation charges to and from the service facility, if required, will be charged extra, at actuals.

    8. Blue Star offers PCB Extended Warranty # (PCB EW) of 4 Years, on the PCB of IDU or ODU (excluding the Remote Handset) of Inverter Split ACs and Inverter Window ACs, on completion of the 1 year from the date of installation.

      Under the PCB Extended Warranty, repair or rectification or replacement of the components in the PCB or the whole PCB thereof will be carried out free of cost for the material used, under the PCB Extended Warranty period of 4 years. All such repairs, rectification or replacement shall be at full discretion of Blue Star and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.

      PCB defects arising out of 24×7 usage, huge voltage spikes, lightning strikes, floods and non-compliance of adequate earthing of the AC, faulty voltage stabiliser and tampering of the PCB by unauthorised personnel are not covered under the PCB Extended Warranty.

      The consumer will be charged the visit charges as applicable at the time of repair or rectification or replacement under the PCB Extended Warranty.

      #The Lifetime Warranty on the Inverter Compressor and the Extended PCB Warranty do not apply to Business-to-Business (B2B), Institutional, and Commercial Applications. Additionally, the terms of these warranties may vary depending on the specific circumstances or agreements.

  3. Common Warranty Terms & Conditions:

    The consumer should download the “ Blue Star Customer Care App” and register with relevant details for availing of the Promotional, Standard, Additional and Extended Warranty as applicable.

    The installation of the AC must be carried out by Blue Star authorised SSD or ESA.

    Customers will have to present the invoice copy to the Blue Star authorised SSD or ESA to avail the benefits under warranties. A soft copy of the invoice or warranty registration copy is also sufficient to avail the applicable warranties.

    All types of warranty will be null and void in:

    1. Applications where the products are used 24×7 for 365 days (such as ATMs with 1 working AC or any other applications) and usage other than comfort, such as to cool or dehumidify or heat machines or materials.

    2. Cases where the product or any component has been tampered with or replaced or repaired by personnel other than the Blue Star authorised service personnel.

    Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repair due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problems, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any unavoidable circumstances, specially vis-a-vis the import of supplies and raw material or if Blue Star is otherwise prevented from performing its functions under this warranty.

    Blue Star's obligation under all types of warranties shall be limited to the repair of part(s) only. The maximum amount of liability with respect to any product related claim(s), if entertained by Blue Star, will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.

    All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the User Manual of the product except for those covered above.

    9. Customers are advised to avail of two Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) per year as per applicable PMS rates in force. PMS ensures product efficiency and a longer product life.

    2. Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.

    3. Under this warranty, the purchaser is entitled to the following:

        • Within 12 months from the date of invoice, any replacement for the component(s) found to be defective will be made and repairs executed free of charge by the company. Parts repaired or replaced are under warranty through the remainder of the original warranty period only.

          Only the Company or the Authorised service agents or dealers can service, repair or attend to the Blue Star product.

        • This warranty does not cover any form of damage resulting from accident and misuse, application of incorrect voltage or any use contrary to the operation instructions supplied with the product.

        • The Company will not be responsible for any damage arising due to unauthorised modification or alterations of any nature made to the product.

        • The Company will not be responsible for any damages incurred during transit of the product.

        • This warranty is not valid if the serial number of the product has been deleted, defaced or altered.

        • This warranty does not cover the cost of transportation to the place of installation by the service centre.

        • This warranty is subject to the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Court of Law.

        • This warranty shall be confirmed by the purchaser of the product only.

Air Purifiers

Blue Star Ltd. gives a 1-year standard warranty, commencing from the date of purchase on your Blue Star Air Purifier.

Under this warranty, the purchaser is entitled to the following:

  1. Repair/replacement of any part of the air purifier (except consumable parts like filters) found defective within 12 months from the date of purchase, if proved upon inspection by Blue Star Ltd. or any of its authorised service dealers or service associates, to have been defective due to faulty material or workmanship.
  2. Free after-sales service for a period within 12 months from the date of purchase, as and when necessary, within the municipal limits of the city or town where the Blue Star dealer/office is situated.

    Note: For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the Authorised Service Agent/Dealer of Blue Star, all expenses incurred in dispatching the unit, or parts thereof, from the Company’s authorised service station or the dealer of Blue Star, as well as expenses incurred in connection with deputing of service personnel/technicians, to and fro conveyance and other incidentals, etc will be borne by the customer.

  3. The purchaser should preserve the original invoice and Warranty Card for necessary verification and produce it at the time of availing warranty services.
  4. Single phase air purifiers are designed to operate at a voltage supply of 230 volts-50 Hz with a tolerable variation of plus or minus 5%. Any failure due to operation of the machine beyond these limits will not be covered under warranty. If the voltage prevailing is beyond these limits, the purchaser is advised to install a good quality voltage stabiliser.
  5. Blue Star Limited shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delays in repair due to labour problems, restrictions, and regulations of the government, public movement, war or any other unavoidable circumstances.
  6. The warranty extended is in lieu of implied conditions and warranties under the law, and is limited to the repair or replacement of parts and does not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss due to non or partial performance of the product or any part thereof. Furthermore, the warranty in no case shall extend to the payment of any monetary consideration whatsoever or the replacement or return of the air purifier.

  7. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part.

The warranty will become null and void if:

  1. The Product is not operated according to instructions given in the user manual.
  2. Installation/re-installation/service/repairs of products is done by any person other than Blue Star Ltd.’s Authorised Dealer/Service Associate.
  3. Damage is caused to the product due to an abnormally corrosive alkaline/acidic atmosphere.
  4. The original serial number of the product or any part thereof is removed, obliterated, or altered.
  5. Defects are caused because of factors beyond the control of Blue Star Ltd., like lightning, abnormal voltage, Acts of God, environmental conditions, negligence of purchaser in using product.

Note:

  1. None of the employees and/or Authorised Dealers and/or Service Associates of the Company have any authority whatsoever to change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
  2. This warranty should be deemed to have been issued by Mumbai, the State of Maharashtra and the courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction on matters covered by or following from this warranty and the original purchaser alone shall have cause of action arising out of the transaction.

    1. The Promotional Warranty means that the warranty period is a total of 4 years from the date of invoice for customers who purchase Blue Star Deep Freezers (Hard Top and Glass Top) from March 15 to June 30, 2026. This warranty is not applicable to NAD/NAMO customers.

    2. The Offer will be strictly applicable only if Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) & services are availed through a Blue Star authorised Sales & Service Partner or Expert Service Associate.

      Customers must mandatorily avail one PMS per year, as per applicable PMS rates in force, to be eligible for the Promotional Warranty. Not availing of PMS will void the Promotional Warranty. PMS ensures product efficiency and a longer product life.

Blue Star shall not be liable or be deemed to be in default for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond its reasonable control, including delay in repairing due to non-availability of any component or accessory, labour problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable circumstances.

  2. Standard Warranty Offer
    1. The Standard 1 year comprehensive warranty applies from the date of sale on Hard Top and Glass Top Deep Freezers.

      • Standard Warranty means repair/replacement of any part of the Deep Freezer found defective, subject to the confirmation of the technical experts appointed by Blue Star Limited or its authorised service partner, due to faulty material or workmanship. It excludes all types of electrical cables, plastics, lids, metal parts, glass and grills, and defects caused by improper maintenance of the product or by any use contrary to the operations specified in the user’s manual supplied with the product.
      • Blue Star shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such defective products or parts thereof. Blue Star reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace any defective part with a substitute without affecting the product's performance. All parts removed by Blue Star shall be the property of Blue Star. If Blue Star carries out repairs or replacement of any part during the Warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the remaining period of the Warranty.
    2. Additional Extended Warranty of 3 years, on the Compressor, Internal Leakage, Fan motor, Thermostat, on completion of 1 year from the date of installation.
      • Under the Additional Extended Warranty, repair or rectification or replacement of the components in the like Compressor, Fan Motor, Thermostat, Internal leakage or the whole component thereof will be carried out free of cost for the material used, under the Additional Extended Warranty period of 3 years. All such repairs, rectification or replacement shall be at full discretion of Blue Star and as per the Warranty Terms and Conditions mentioned in the User Manual.
      • Andy defects arising out of 24×7 usage, huge voltage spikes, lightning strikes, floods and non-compliance of adequate earthing of the Deep Freezer, faulty voltage stabiliser and tampering of the product by unauthorised personnel are not covered under the Additional Extended Warranty.
      • The consumer will be charged the visit charges as applicable at the time of repair or rectification or replacement under the Additional Extended Warranty.
    3. Standard Warranty for Cooler cum Freezers is 1 year with a 2 year extended warranty for the compressor. Standard Warranty is limited to the repair/ replacement of any part of the unit found defective within 12 months from the date of sale. Parts covered include the Compressor, Fan Motor and PCB. Parts such as the thermostat, Condenser, copper pipe, electrical cable, bimetal/ plastic body, lid, grills and other plastic parts are not covered.

      The Extended Warranty covers repairs, rectification or replacement of the compressor.

Common Terms and Conditions:

  1. Costs for gas charging and technician visits will be charged extra after 1 year under the Standard Warranty.
  2. This warranty ceases to be valid if:

    a. Service or repairs on the equipment are carried out by any person other than one authorised by the Company.

Visi Coolers

Blue Star offers various warranties across product segments in Visi Coolers.

  1. Promotional Warranty Offer
    1. The Promotional Warranty means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 4 years from the date of invoice and is only applicable to the Compressor. The offer is valid for customers who purchase Blue Star Visi Coolers from March 15 to June 30, 2026. This warranty is not applicable to NAD/NAMO customers.

    2. The Promotional Warranty will be applicable only upon submission of a valid customer GST invoice, which will be used to determine the date of purchase and the applicable warranty period. Customers who fail to submit the GST invoice will not be eligible to avail the benefits of this Promotional Warranty Offer.

    3. The Warranty covers all repairs, rectification, or replacement of the Compressor comprehensively. Defective parts shall be replaced with a functionally working repaired part or an equivalent part.

    4. In case of the Promotional Warranty, the replacement of a non-functional Compressor will be covered under Warranty and borne by the Company. However, in such a scenario, the labour, gas charging, transportation and relevant taxes will be paid by the customer as per applicable rates.

    5. Customers will be required to pay visit charges as per the rates in force from the 2nd year onwards.

Mini Bar

  1. Blue Star offers 1 Year Comprehensive* Warranty and 4 Year Warranty on Compressor of Mini Bar, to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

  2. *Comprehensive warranty includes warranty on product and compressor. The warranty on product includes parts covered as mentioned above.


  3. The Warranty will be limited to repair/replacement of Compressor, Thermostat, LED Light, Power Cord, Electrical Cables and any part, listed in the Warranty Obligation page and found defective, ex-Branch Office within 12 months from the date of sale.
  4. The Warranty does not cover Condenser, Foot, Evaporator Roll Bond, Copper Drier Filter, Refrigerant Charge and other parts such as- all handles, hinges, shelf, rubber/glass/plastic parts.
  5. Free transportation of the equipment to the workshop for repairs is available during the Warranty period if the appliance is used within the municipal limits of the city or town where the Blue Star office/dealer is located.
  6. The defective parts must be sent to the Company, freight prepaid and insured, for the Company’s examination and satisfaction that they are defective. Return freight and insurance on such repaired/replacement parts plus any excise duty and taxes/levies will be extra.
  7. This Warranty will be valid only if the Mini Bar is operated on a power supply of single phase AC 230V ± 10%.
  8. This Warranty ceases to be valid if:

    1. The Promotional Warranty means an extension of the warranty period to a total of 2 years from the date of invoice and is only applicable to the Compressor.
